I just finished making the header at the top of the page (which meant hours working in Photoshop instead of folding laundry). Even though no one will see this blog yet, I want to make sure it looks great for when I share it with everyone, which will be in about a month - hopefully.
Obviously, once this is made public, the cat will be out of the bag and everyone will know that WE'RE PREGNANT!!!! I'm a little excited about that, can you tell? I'll post more on the story of how we actually got here to be pregnant at a later point - don't worry, it won't get gross. I'm pretty sure if you're reading this you know what parts it takes to make a baby the traditional way, and since this is my blog, you know who those parts belong to. ;) Hehe. Okay, it won't get any more gross than that, I promise.
At this point, I'm actually 10 weeks and 6 days along - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. Crazy. I'm still in awe that there actually is a little baby growing inside of my belly! I'm so thankful, and happy, and nervous, and excited, and at times worried, and all sorts of other emotions all together! Daryl and I pray every day for the health and safety of our baby, as well as thank God for the fact that it's there!
Here's a quick update on the important dates and exciting happenings so far:
November 12 - Positive home pregnancy test!!!
November 24 - Told my mom.
November 29 - First appointment with the midwife.
December 3 - Told my dad.
December 8 - First ultrasound! Heard the heartbeat!!!
December 24 - Told Daryl's parents.

That's it, in a nutshell, up until now. We are planning on telling my siblings this weekend over New Year's. We are very blessed and happy!!
